As a young girl, 
I desired to fly.
I wished to soar 
on the wind’s back
and touch the azure sky. 
I dreamed of the capture
of a lost fairy;
I would hold her
in my hands
until I set her free,
joyfully merry. 
I wished upon stars
and searched for 
four leaf clovers
until I grew up
and my dreams,
they started over. 
But, this doesn’t mean
my dreams are 
non-existent. 
Now, more than ever
they’re stronger,
more resistent
to the outside world
and all its crushing ideals. 
Inside, I’m still a young girl,
with a fairyland in mind, 
and how flying might truly feel.
